Writing Group Host

Devin works across writing, film, language coaching and creative event design. She is known for making niche things feel inviting, and brings curiosity and a love of shared discovery to every session she runs.

How the sessions run

Each session begins with a casual, lightly guided discussion around writing topics such as craft, inspiration, publishing or process.

After the discussion the room opens up for co-writing, quiet work, conversation, or simply getting words down alongside other people. It is a relaxed group, and the format shifts with whatever the writers who come along are working on. Whatever you are writing, and whether or not you would call yourself a writer, you are welcome here.

Where we meet

This one roves. Sessions are held at coffee and tea shops around the metroplex, and as the group grows it will start moving back to the club space. Check the location on the event itself before you set off.

Everything here is free to attend, and donations are what keep it that way. They cover the space, the supplies and the running costs, and they let us add new free programming rather than charging for it.
