About the Style
Paso Doble is one of the most theatrical dances in the ballroom repertoire, a dramatic style inspired by the Spanish bullfight, where the leader represents the matador and the follower the cape. The music is march-like and relentless, the posture proud and upright, and the choreography full of dramatic poses and flamenco-inspired footwork.
